Common questions
Where does the data come from?
From the U.S. Department of Transportation's public open data portal: FMCSA's company census, inspections, violations, crashes, operating authority, insurance filings and out-of-service orders. Most of it updates daily.
Is this an official FMCSA site?
No. Fleet Advisr Carrier Search is an independent tool built on public FMCSA records. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by FMCSA or the U.S. Department of Transportation. Always confirm critical details on SAFER and L&I before booking a load.
What counts as a lookup on the free plan?
Each search you run and each carrier report you open counts as one. Paging through the same search results, or reopening a carrier you already looked up, doesn't count again.
Are the scores and spend estimates official?
No. The Fleet Advisr score, peer percentiles and spend estimates are our own calculations from public data and industry cost averages. They are meant for screening and sales research, and they are labeled as estimates in the app.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. You can cancel or change plans from your account menu. You keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
Do you sell my data?
No. Your saved carriers, notes and call logs belong to you and are only used to run your account.
